Care Packages
There are three different types of boxes: the NICU Mama Bag, the NICU Mama Box, & the NICU Mama Mini. The idea stemmed from me wanting to shower Mamas with some of my favorite things when I was in the NICU. I wanted each Mama to feel special and supported, no matter how long her baby may have been in the NICU. Once a NICU Mama, always a NICU Mama.
NICU Mama Bag
(for the micropreemie Mama who's baby was born at 32 weeks gestation, or younger, and is spending many months in the NICU): A breastmilk cooler bag filled with two reusable ice packs, an insulated coffee mug/water tumbler, a journal, a pen, a book to read to their baby, a ”mama” bracelet, a $5 Starbucks gift card, a face mask, an eye mask and a personal note from me.
NICU Mama Box
(for the premature baby Mama who's baby was born 32-38 weeks gestation and is spending several weeks in the NICU): A journal, a pen, a book to read to their baby, a face & eye mask, a “mama” bracelet, a $5 Starbucks gift card, and a personal note from me.
NICU Mama Mini
(for the Mama who's baby was born full term but needs to spend a few nights in the NICU before going home): A face & eye mask, a “mama” bracelet and a personal note from me.
Donations
All care packages sent to NICU Mamas are a free gift from Preemie Parents & Co. that rely on donations. Friends & family of NICU Mamas reach out to request a box for their loved one. These packages are sent with love all over the United States. In addition to donations, a portion of all profits will be used to gift more care packages to NICU Mamas.
